The Timex Ironman Watch was introduced to the market in 1986. Since that time it has been on a remarkable journey. It is now the world’s largest selling sports watch. The Timex Ironman Watch has travelled to the moon. It is worn on all continents. President Clinton donated the Timex Ironman Watch he wore at his inauguration to the Smithsonian’s Museum of American History.

The Timex Ironman Watch records all the times and splits they need in their training schedule and with the data link technology now available all this information can be uploaded to a computer and stored for future reference.

They have introduced a slimmer, sleek version that is very popular. They have been rated waterproof to 100 meters – so there’s no worries about wearing a Timex Ironman Watch in the shower or when swimming. There is even a Timex Ironman Watch that will interface with an iPod!

The timex ironman watch has been seen at celebrity events. They are very popular amongst actors, actresses and all types of performers – some of the routines they have to go through also need a watch that can stand up to any punishment!

Set a new PR at the 30th Troika triathlon on Sunday. I beat my time from last year by 2 minutes 24 seconds! According to my TIMEX Ironman Global Trainer, I was a 1 minute 16 seconds faster on my swim (36:44).

My bike finish time was slower than last year, about 7 minutes slower but still averaged 20 mph. The course was a little different but the distance was right on. I don’t think the course change had anything to do with my slower time. I simply wasn’t as prepared as I should have been.

I took my run average down from 10:24 minutes per mile to 9:42 minutes per mile! Unofficially I ran a 2:07:05 half marathon.

So, I finished my 8th Half Ironman in record time, 5:34:25. That’s the fasted half I’ve ever run.
